I, the participant named below, have agreed to train with Integrated Training Limited (Integrated Training).  

I acknowledge and agree that the training programmes with Integrated Training (Training Programmes) are of a specialist nature and may push me and my body in ways I have not experienced before and/or in ways that may be surprising.

I also acknowledge and agree that the Training Programmes will generally involve an element of movement, breath-work, mental resilience and/or recovery.  Integrated Training may also introduce new training programmes or techniques from time to time that may go beyond this. 

I also acknowledge and agree that the Training Programmes:

• Are likely to challenge me physically and mentally; 
• May involve strenuous physical activity, strength and conditioning and other fitness activities;
• May involve breath control training, including but not limited to, breath-holding techniques;
• May involve mental and/ recovery training; 
• May involve cold water immersion and heat acclimation; and 
• May involve training alone (for example, in a one on one session or virtually) or in a group situation.

I also acknowledge that, in consideration for allowing me to visit and/or use Integrated Training’s premises in person or online I agree to this acknowledgment and waiver.  The same applies for when I am attending and/or using public or private locations (for example, beaches, pools, gyms and/or classrooms) with Integrated Training. 

Health and safety 

I agree to comply with my obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, and with any rules, policies or standards set by Integrated Training, including those that may change from time to time. 

I agree to take all reasonable care while on Integrated Training’s premises to not put my own, or others’, health and safety at risk.  I agree to take the same level of reasonable care while attending public and/or private locations with Integrated Training.  

I also agree to comply with any reasonable health and safety instruction given to me by any employee or representative of Integrated Training at any time while visiting or training with Integrated Training.

I acknowledge that there are unpreventable risks to my health and safety while training with Integrated Training.  For example, heart attacks, muscle strains, pulls and tears, broken bones, injuries to the body, panic/anxiety induced attacks, respiratory complications, damage to skin, hypothermia, drowning and/or even death.  While Integrated Training has taken all practicable steps to minimise these risks and to tailor the training programme to my body’s specific needs, I acknowledge that these risks cannot be removed entirely.

I hereby affirm, and I affirm each time I engage in Training Programmes with Integrated Training, that:

• I am in a physically and mentally fit condition and am not suffering from any medical condition or other impairment that may prevent me from training with Integrated Training safely; and
• I am participating in the Training Programmes voluntarily and at my own risk.

 

Property and equipment 

I acknowledge that I am, and remain, responsible at all times for my personal property while at Integrated Training premises, and/or attending public or private locations with Integrated Training or on behalf of Integrated Training.  This includes, but is not limited to, any damage caused by my personal property.  I also acknowledge that Integrated Training is not responsible or liable for any theft, loss or damage to my personal property whatsoever. 

I agree that I will treat all property and/or equipment owned or supplied by Integrated Training with care, and acknowledge that I may be held liable for any costs, loss or damage to such property or equipment.  

Acknowledgements

I acknowledge:

• Breathing and breath holding techniques undertaken on land are intended strictly for land use only. They should never be attempted in or around water.
• Breath holding work in water must not be replicated outside of the training or workshops with Integrated Training.
• Breath training work must never be attempted in water without a trained professional present and should not be attempted outside of the training and workshops provided by Integrated Training.

 

Waiver and indemnity

I confirm and undertake on behalf of myself, executors, my administrators and successors as follows:

• I fully understand that I may injure myself as a result of my participation in the Training Programmes;
• I waive, release, and discharge Integrated Training (including its workers and those representing it) from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense, demand or cause of action that I may suffer with respect to personal injury, death, damage to or destruction of property, theft or otherwise that may arise while I am training with Integrated Training; and
• I indemnify and hold harmless Integrated Training (including its workers and those representing it) from any and all losses, liabilities, damages, costs or claims that may arise as a result of my presence and/or training with Integrated Training.  
• I am above 18 years of age. 

I acknowledge that I have read and understand this document and sign it voluntarily.  I further acknowledge that I have been given the opportunity to seek legal advice on the contents of this document before signing.
